Fabian Kornecki came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Vasile Ştirbu's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vasile Ştirbu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Ştirbu to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Casaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Fabian Kornecki made a huge save. The throw-in from Cosme Damario in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Alan Tamayo. Fabian Kornecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 40th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Liviu Gogu made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. With an all-out effort, Delphine Stars's Thiago Pliego threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vyacheslav Korolev, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Chile. Mariano Lacasa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fabian Kornecki. 6-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 94th minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Fabian Kornecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th match minute, Delphine Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Duldurescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute, Adrian Duldurescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
