Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Puianello FC's Göksel Taşdan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Peru's Darrel Pennington threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Mina in the 13th minute of play forced Puianello FC's goalkeeper Darrel Pennington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Puianello FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 16 minutes Puianello FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Darrel Pennington quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute Göksel Taşdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessio Tarquini kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Darrel Pennington. Puianello FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luz Tejedor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Darrel Pennington in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Puianello FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Moises Gayoso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Darrel Pennington quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Puianello FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Göksel Taşdan hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Luz Tejedor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 46th minute, Eliseo Mina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Darrel Pennington. The goal made the score 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Peru booed when Puianello FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Esposito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 minutes, Angelo Esposito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puianello FC and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelo Esposito hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Puianello FC's Darrel Pennington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 64th minute of play. When Göksel Taşdan fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Puianello FC's protests and gave Göksel Taşdan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrel Pennington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darrel Pennington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 72nd minute of the match. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göksel Taşdan struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puianello FC. Luz Tejedor took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darrel Pennington. Darrel Pennington dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Darrel Pennington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 83rd minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Puianello FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Darrel Pennington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
