The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 8th minute of play forced GALATASARAY1905's goalkeeper 卓宇夕 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Barrios kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kandemir Hürmüz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Burkhard Kahlert got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Burkhard Kahlert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İshak Sebuktekin's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İshak Sebuktekin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, İshak Sebuktekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 卓宇夕 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 卓宇夕 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GALATASARAY1905's İshak Sebuktekin got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, GALATASARAY1905 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loramendi Valerón to maneuver through the defense. Burkhard Kahlert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. After 44 minutes, Tomas Berganza made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. GALATASARAY1905's 卓宇夕 tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burkhard Kahlert was the one to do the kick off. Panama were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after GALATASARAY1905's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abraham Alguacil took the corner. Abraham Alguacil came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 卓宇夕 could save by the left post. 卓宇夕 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 卓宇夕. That made the score 1-2 after 60 minutes of play. After 67 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. 69 minutes into the match, Panama's Tomas Berganza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 卓宇夕 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. İshak Sebuktekin got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, GALATASARAY1905's İshak Sebuktekin got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Burkhard Kahlert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 78 played minutes GALATASARAY1905 got a freekick which was hit by Ömer Rıza Usta. With a little luck, GALATASARAY1905's 卓宇夕 got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Sezai Rahim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GALATASARAY1905's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of GALATASARAY1905:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Panama:s goal. The goalkeeper, 卓宇夕, was totally fooled by Panama's Abraham Alguacil, who 86 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Thanks to some nice moves Abraham Alguacil could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which 卓宇夕 however easily saved by the left post. During the 91st minute of the match Sezai Rahim completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sezai Rahim a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GALATASARAY1905! Abraham Alguacil placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 95th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Alguacil to maneuver through the defense. 卓宇夕 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 101st minute of play. Panama's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
