The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chico Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, EK's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Denimir Bebin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Denimir Bebin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Denimir Bebin made a huge save. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Denimir Bebin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes EK got a freekick which was hit by Cido Fernandez. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Fernandez came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Denimir Bebin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vladislav Dzhalev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 76 played minutes EK got a freekick which was hit by Beloslav Yachkov. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 76th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Denimir Bebin but with some difficulty. EK's Denimir Bebin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save EK from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Denimir Bebin made a huge save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cido Fernandez in the 86th minute of the match. Tzolo Geshev kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of EK booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Vladislav Dzhalev came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The EK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
