The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Alex Cambeiro a yellow card for diving instead. GALATASARAY1905 made a substitution. Erhan Saruca replaced Kandemir Hürmüz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 43rd minute of play forced GALATASARAY1905's goalkeeper 卓宇夕 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 卓宇夕 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of GALATASARAY1905 booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball.
