Sylwester Giec hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ignacy Niewiadomski. Glany proboszcza's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Glany proboszcza's Sylwester Giec. But to his dismay, Sylwester Giec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. 2-0 came through a penalty shot after 24 played minutes, when Glany proboszcza:s Patryk Pluciennik calmly waited for Costa Rica:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sylwester Giec 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Knopek in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Glany proboszcza booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sylwester Giec in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glany proboszcza reached it. If Sylwester Giec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacy Niewiadomski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glany proboszcza's Zdzislaw Indyk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 41st minute of the game. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Giec, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Glany proboszcza's Sylwester Giec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Giec in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Glany proboszcza got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Giec. 72 minutes into the game, Glany proboszcza's Sylwester Giec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Noboa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ignacy Niewiadomski. That made the score 6-1 in the 77 minute of play. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sylwester Giec went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 86 minutes, Sylwester Giec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glany proboszcza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylwester Giec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Knopek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the game, Aureliusz Trac was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glany proboszcza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. After 95 played minutes Glany proboszcza got a freekick which was hit by Aureliusz Trac. When the referee ended the match the Glany proboszcza players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
