Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. Zachariasz Osikowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 3rd minute of the match. If Ulryk Jucha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Kosynierzy FC's Tytus Mnich got a free kick in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulryk Jucha. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 18 minutes in the game, Mariusz Majorski fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Zachariasz Osikowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 19th minute of play. Zenon Nowak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 25th minute of play forced Kosynierzy FC's goalkeeper Zachariasz Osikowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zenon Nowak in the 37th minute. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulryk Jucha to make the kick off. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Tasiss short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Zachariasz Osikowicz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Kosynierzy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hieronim Parajewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Axel Tasis from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Zachariasz Osikowicz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hugo Ferrant fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Hugo Ferrant a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Jucha in the 83rd minute of play. Witold Wierzchowski's late challenge caught a Costa Rica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Witold Wierzchowski helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Kosynierzy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Wierzchowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Majorski in the 93rd minute of play. Ulryk Jucha struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kosynierzy FC. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kosynierzy FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Costa Rica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
