After having played for 21 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Börje Friberger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Isak, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 39th minute, Alf Bivall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, BängaBoys FF's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Börje Friberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Isak in the 65th minute of play. Guillermo Mariano's late challenge caught a BängaBoys FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guillermo Mariano helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 70 in the game by Milosz Pochorylo from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Börje Friberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Milosz Pochorylo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. The tension between the Venezuela and the BängaBoys FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Milosz Pochorylo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Milosz Pochorylo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. BängaBoys FF's Harald Ekegren got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milosz Pochorylo in the 95th minute. The supporters of BängaBoys FF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
