In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind BängaBoys FF's goalkeeper Börje Friberger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of play forced BängaBoys FF's goalkeeper Börje Friberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, BängaBoys FF's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Börje Friberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the BängaBoys FF defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Börje Friberger. The BängaBoys FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Börje Friberger should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milosz Pochorylo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Alf Bivall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Friberger was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Joel Gaona capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joel Gaona really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Milosz Pochorylo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Friberger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was a well-played corner which Luca Zorita managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Joel Gaona sped through BängaBoys FF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Börje Friberger. Börje Friberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Börje Friberger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After 86 played minutes BängaBoys FF got a freekick which was hit by Milosz Pochorylo. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Börje Friberger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-6. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
