Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's 任迅铮. But to his dismay, 任迅铮 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's attentive 宋文潮 managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Zhen Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote threw the ball into play from the sideline. ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's Xiao Zhen Feng quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 20 minutes into the game, Alex Chicote threw the ball into play from the sideline. ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's 宋文潮 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 任迅铮 in the 28th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Leonel Menendo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 任迅铮, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 黄挺常 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's 任迅铮 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 任迅铮 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Salvador Gisbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜 the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's 任迅铮 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 0-3 after 55 minutes of play. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Jonathan Ferrant had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping 黄挺常's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Xiao Zhen Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If 任迅铮 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's attentive 柳朗远 managed to snatch the ball when Salvador Gisbert made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Xiao Zhen Feng managed to get in a good position for a shot. ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's supporters rose to their feet, but Xiao Zhen Feng was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 任迅铮 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 任迅铮's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joacim Svanberg came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's goalkeeper Joacim Svanberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 宋文潮 to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜's Joacim Svanberg. Joacim Svanberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over ≮Empire≯飞翔的白菜 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
