Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Isak Stålman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Gisbert made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cristian Sancho however managed to control. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Markus Fågel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Gisbert got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cristian Sancho. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Isak Stålman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polly Magoo Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Isak Stålman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Polly Magoo Juniors defense, Felix Montenegro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Fågel. The Polly Magoo Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Fågel should have stopped the shot. After having played for 48 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isak Stålman made a kick off. Gösta Bergman hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Stålman in the 55th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isak Stålman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Markus Fågel in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isak Stålman in the 59th minute of play. After 60 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roy Johnsson who took care of the corner kick. Roy Johnsson made a great header on Polly Magoo Juniors's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in Polly Magoo Juniors's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markus Fågel came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Markus Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Polly Magoo Juniors's Kenny Pavey was substituted for Alf Bredberg. Polly Magoo Juniors made a substitution. Isac Wållander replaced Gösta Bergman. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Isak Stålman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Markus Fågel made a huge save. Markus Fågel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isak Stålman in the 97th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
