Trifillia.FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arturo Orixe in the 10th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Sabit Piruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trifillia.FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabit Piruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sabit Piruz got free with Thiago Pliego in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dimitris Vasilakos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Vasilakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Garrido hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Felix Garrido in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Trifillia.FC's Radoslaw Penc. In the 47th minute, Alan Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Arturo Orixe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thiago Pliego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half Chile were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. Dimitris Vasilakos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Dimitris Vasilakos. Trifillia.FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Trifillia.FC made a substitution. Aggelos Stamatis replaced Theo Light. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabit Piruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Dimitris Vasilakos made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Trifillia.FC's Sabit Piruz got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the match Chile got a corner. Trifillia.FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Orlando Casaus got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dimitris Vasilakos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Orlando Casaus did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Dimitris Vasilakos 91 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Trifillia.FC's Dimitris Vasilakos got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 96 minutes Trifillia.FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mariano Lacasa who took care of the corner kick. Chile's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
