Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Andres Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Andres Tavio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gonzalo Berterame might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gonzalo Berterame ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute of the match, Gonzalo Berterame tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Centenario Bohemio's Gonzalo Berterame in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 19th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andres Tavio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Andres Tavio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 33rd minute of play forced Centenario Bohemio's goalkeeper Andres Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Centenario Bohemio's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Andres Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Berterame in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matías Donato. A nice corner shot did that Mauro Fontanini got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 46 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Centenario Bohemio's Andres Tavio. Andres Tavio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matías Molina's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matías Molina helped the player get up and apologised. Matías Molina hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Matías Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andres Tavio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Fontanini, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Centenario Bohemio's Matías Molina got a free kick in the 65th minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Andres Tavio made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Tavio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Centenario Bohemio made a substitution. Luís Eduardo López replaced Matías Donato. After 80 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Andres Tavio made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute, Luís Eduardo López made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4.
