The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremías Tindall in the 3rd minute of play. Augustinas Gavorskis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Medievales's Augustinas Gavorskis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Augustinas Gavorskis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Pedro Manzanares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augustinas Gavorskis in the 14th minute. Robert Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by Deportivo Medievales's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Axel Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Colombia's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Colombia's Axel Montenegro to fire away a dangerous shot which Robert Abbondanzieri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Colombia booed when Deportivo Medievales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustinas Gavorskis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robert Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Medievales's Robert Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Augustinas Gavorskis came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Augustinas Gavorskis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Augustinas Gavorskis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Augustinas Gavorskis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustinas Gavorskis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Santino Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Robert Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Medievales's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Axel Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Robert Abbondanzieri, making the score, 3-1. Deportivo Medievales made a substitution. Eriberto Dalmai replaced Jeremías Tindall. Deportivo Medievales's Eleuterio Ovando was substituted for Gustavo Gar. 69 minutes into the match, Colombia's Kevin Mastache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Abbondanzieri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Augustinas Gavorskis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Deportivo Medievales's Erubiel Aresti was substituted for Tytus Ziemniak. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Robert Abbondanzieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Antonio Indiano hit a great ball.
