Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Dimitris Charalambopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dacian Iorgu in the 16th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced FC Panat's goalkeeper Dimitris Charalambopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dimitris Charalambopoulos came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Panait Moșneanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Iorgu in the 28th minute of the match. Dimitris Charalambopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Dacian Iorgu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Panait Moșneanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A nice corner shot did that Gică Comșa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 43rd minute. FC Panat's Concetto Allemandi was substituted for Gică Comșa. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Panait Moșneanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When FC Panat's Panait Moșneanu in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panait Moșneanu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. FC Panat made a substitution. Napoleon Czajka replaced Folke Hasselqvist. After having played for 78 minutes, Panait Moșneanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Panat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panait Moșneanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panait Moșneanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dimitris Charalambopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FC Panat fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
