When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Szymon Iwaszko took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Lautaro Navarro to make any attempt to save it. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Szczepan Betonowy with Wieslaw Bucyki as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Iwaszko in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match FC LSG got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tanek Siekierski ran over to the corner to take the kick. FC LSG's Mikolaj Filipkowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wiktor Juszkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Lautaro Navarro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tanek Siekierski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. In the 36th minute Tanek Siekierski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
