Paraguay's Jaime Pardo was responsible for 1-1 with a brilliant performance in the 12th minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Waldir Gaúcho. Aca Larroque scored 1-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. Paraguay's attentive Jaime Pardo managed to snatch the ball when Best Tek made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with Waldir Gaúcho in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Waldir Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Covarrubias in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Aca Larroque. After 47 played minutes Valhalla Time got a freekick which was hit by Best Tek.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amaury Hulsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amaury Hulsen got free with Jacobo Nores in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Valhalla Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Best Tek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Best Tek struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jacobo Nores didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valhalla Time. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Tek in the 60th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aca Larroque. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Jimeno Santo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Paraguay's Xavier Zoido quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 84th minute, Hermengildo Naike hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Valhalla Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermengildo Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amaury Hulsen in the 92nd minute of play. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amaury Hulsen in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Paraguay lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
