Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Florencio Herbella started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Florencio Herbella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marcial Zuazna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Murillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Weather Piedrahita having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Weather Piedrahita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Piedrahita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Milagros Fraga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Piedrahita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Maturrango's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Weather Piedrahita came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 23 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Maturrango's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Weather Piedrahita came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico Maturrango's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Alonso Berganza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Weather Piedrahita quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Mina in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Weather Piedrahita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 31 minutes, Eliseo Mina made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Weather Piedrahita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Herbella went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Marcial Zuazna kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Weather Piedrahita was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Milagros Fraga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Milagros Fraga really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Weather Piedrahita was a little too slow when Julian Murillo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 3-3. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Weather Piedrahita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 74th minute of play. Atletico Maturrango made a substitution. Ederono Ojero replaced Florencio Herbella. It was a well-played corner which Alonso Berganza managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Atletico Maturrango getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Fidencio Santandres hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Atletico Maturrango's Fidencio Santandres got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Maturrango's goalkeeper Weather Piedrahita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Weather Piedrahita was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Rafael Gallo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Gallo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. With his leg Weather Piedrahita managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Peru's Rafael Gallo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Atletico Maturrango getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Caton Oquendo hit a great ball.
