Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nunez Beila started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gladiadores Legionarios were furious when Rafael Furtado was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gladiadores Legionarios! In the 11th minute of the game, Honduras got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 14th minute, Edmundo Espiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilberto Tiadoro. The goal made the score 2-0. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nunez Beila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Gilberto Tiadoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Edmundo Espiga lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Gilberto Tiadoro. In the 34th match minute, Gladiadores Legionarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Argenis to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goalkeeper Gilberto Tiadoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Ignacio Araoz with Braulio Librado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Edmundo Espiga kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Moises Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Tiadoro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Gladiadores Legionarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. Luca Espinar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto Tiadoro. Gladiadores Legionarios's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gladiadores Legionarios's Gilberto Tiadoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 61st minute of play. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Tiadoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gladiadores Legionarios's Gilberto Tiadoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Gladiadores Legionarios's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Gilberto Tiadoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Tiadoro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Gilberto Tiadoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Tiadoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilberto Tiadoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 79th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Tiadoro having to interfere. Arturo Frantzes charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arturo Frantzes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Gladiadores Legionarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Frantzes to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Tiadoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes Gladiadores Legionarios's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edmundo Espiga who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Edmundo Espiga almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gladiadores Legionarios's Gilberto Tiadoro did a great save. Gilberto Tiadoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 86th minute of play.
