Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Anatol Hönes made the kick off and thus started the match. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lyon 69ers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Alberto Tafalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guy Durant quite easily take care of the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatol Hönes in the 11th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Lyon 69ers got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Lecanu. Guy Durant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Lyon 69ers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Alberto Tafalla heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Guy Durant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Lyon 69ers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynald Baillou to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Durant having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatol Hönes in the 30th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Durant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Lyon 69ers's Mathias Lecanu got a free kick in the 41st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Anatol Hönes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Anatol Hönes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute. Joel Gaona made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Lyon 69ers's Guy Durant managed to reach the ball for a save. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Guy Durant could save by the left post. In the 58th minute, Anatol Hönes made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Guy Durant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65th play minutes Joel Gaona shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Guy Durant and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 72nd minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Guy Durant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Reynald Baillou hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Mathias Lecanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anatol Hönes scored 2-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anatol Hönes in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Tom Beaune shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyon 69ers succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
