Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. FC United's Zdzislaw Jestrimski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. If Carlo Puglielli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zdzislaw Jestrimski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute, FC United's Beniamin Bejger ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Zdzislaw Jestrimski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Beniamin Bejger made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Beniamin Bejger took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play forced FC United's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Jestrimski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC United's Zdzislaw Jestrimski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beniamin Bejger in the 43rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Puglielli in the 50th minute of the match. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, one of FC United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC United. In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zdzislaw Jestrimski. 3-2. After 57 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. Zdzislaw Jestrimski made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 66th minute Carlo Puglielli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes FC United got a freekick which was hit by Kevinn De Bruyne. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Zdzislaw Jestrimski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zdzislaw Jestrimski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zdzislaw Jestrimski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. FC United's Zdzislaw Jestrimski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save FC United from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Zdzislaw Jestrimski made a huge save. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, FC United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo Puglielli to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Puglielli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Zdzislaw Jestrimski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zdzislaw Jestrimski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
