Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ander Salan. Ander Salan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 7 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ander Salan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ander Salan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Naldo Rallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aston Birra's Aya Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Aston Birra's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Ander Salan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ander Salan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 25th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ander Salan. Ander Salan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ander Salan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Aston Birra's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Ander Salan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes Aston Birra's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aston Birra's Ander Salan did a great save. In the 40th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ander Salan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The long shot by Patricio Figueroa in the 44th minute really tested Julio Vera's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Aston Birra's Ander Salan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ander Salan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 53rd minute of play. Ander Salan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Ecuador's Felix Montes in the 55th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ander Salan was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Aston Birra through an amazing save. Aston Birra's Ander Salan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Aston Birra from getting a goal against them. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Aston Birra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 67 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Aston Birra's Ander Salan. Ander Salan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ander Salan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ander Salan in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Aston Birra's Ander Salan got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 81 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Ander Salan managed to make a qualified save. Aston Birra's players were relieved. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Ander Salan threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ander Salan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 84 minute of play. In the 88th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ander Salan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
