Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. 肖志庭 started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Sebastian Frey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Pacífico FC's 肖志庭 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute of play forced Pacífico FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Frey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Mano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 14 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute, Nando Rivera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Frey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Sebastian Frey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pacífico FC's Sebastian Frey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastian Frey quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 30th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Frey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute. The corner ended in Felix Montes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pacífico FC's Sebastian Frey did a great save. Sebastian Frey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Pacífico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kerry Flöter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Mano in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pacífico FC's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Frey came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

In the 51st minute, Severino Mano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pacífico FC's Sebastian Frey. Sebastian Frey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sebastian Frey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Frey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Agustín Saelices fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Severino Mano kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Sebastian Frey was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 69 minute of play. Sebastian Frey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Sebastian Frey to make any attempt to save it. Pacífico FC's Sebastian Frey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Pacífico FC from getting a goal against them. Agustín Saelicess short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Sebastian Frey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sebastian Frey. That made the score 1-5 after 92 minutes of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Frey having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
