Edinson Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piero Quispe to make the kick off. In the 61st match minute, Nova Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kismi Abar to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Flores in the 72nd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurilio Duque. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 76th minute of play. Maurilio Duque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Nova Soccer defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurilio Duque. The Nova Soccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurilio Duque should have stopped the shot. Nova Soccer's Maurilio Duque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 82nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piero Quispe in the 92nd minute of play. Nova Soccer's Donat Collier got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
