When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 庞剑飞 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. 庞剑飞 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 郑国响 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
