Monumental Gaucho
Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jean Carl Ba Loua kicked off to start the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivoš Petráček in the 11th minute of play. If Golo Doro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play forced AC Milan's goalkeeper Ludomir Gleba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludomir Gleba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Golo Doro didn't get a good kick on the ball. AC Milan's Ludomir Gleba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Golo Doro notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Carl Ba Loua, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. AC Milan were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ivoš Petráček took the corner. After 55 minutes, Ivoš Petráček mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Milan and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, AC Milan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivoš Petráček to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludomir Gleba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Carl Ba Loua in the 60th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Gleba having to interfere. When Federico Lucero came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the AC Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Lucero couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in AC Milan's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomir Gleba came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AC Milan's Mauro Eliu got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AC Milan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ludomir Gleba could save by the left post. After 86 minutes AC Milan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of AC Milan's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. AC Milan's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Carl Ba Loua came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludomir Gleba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
