With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Putte von der Putten tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of DALO S.C.'s Isaias Perojo. Isaias Perojo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mora Liebana in the 52nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
