Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Egernføde Boldklub's Walentin Julskov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Walentin Julskov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Ferdinand Rosenvad scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of Egernføde Boldklub booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Walentin Julskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Walentin Julskov scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of Egernføde Boldklub booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walentin Julskov in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Walentin Julskov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Egernføde Boldklub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walentin Julskov to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ferdinand Rosenvad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Egernføde Boldklub's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Rosenvad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 29 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Rosenvad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vilfred Degener made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilfred Degener having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Walentin Julskov sent off a good shot on target.

When Conrad Jueltoft came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Egernføde Boldklub fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrad Jueltoft couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Rosenvad, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Bjørn Martensen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walentin Julskov, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Rosenvad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. In the 75th minute, Ferdinand Rosenvad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egernføde Boldklub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Vilfred Degener didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdinand Rosenvad in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Rosenvad in the 88th minute of play.
