Tanek Dziechciowski took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tanek Dziechciowski in the 8th minute of play. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanek Dziechciowski in the 19th minute of the match. When Tanek Dziechciowski fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Socanelas FC's protests and gave Tanek Dziechciowski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Socanelas FC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Tande, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tanek Dziechciowski in the 28th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Tanek Dziechciowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mor Šego was slow to take the kick. During this time Socanelas FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Socanelas FC's Mor Šego to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Tande having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Socanelas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luís Penha to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tanek Dziechciowski made the kick off in the second half. Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 53 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Socanelas FC the free kick. 陶烽晨 hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tanek Dziechciowski's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The supporters of Socanelas FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Mor Šego threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Edvaldo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Cabal in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Honduras's Sebastian Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvaldo Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 74 played minutes Socanelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Mor Šego. 75 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvaldo Tande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tanek Dziechciowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lautaro Navarro having to make a save. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Tanek Dziechciowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the game Mor Šego made a throw-in which Tanek Dziechciowski played forward. Vinícius Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. The supporters of Honduras booed when Socanelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Honduras players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
