The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Bittencourt having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Emílio Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 10th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Prestes in the 12th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, LUC1F3R R1S1NG's goalkeeper Emílio Bittencourt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Dedé Prestes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emílio Bittencourt. Lautaro Mancebo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dedé Prestes was slow to take the kick. During this time LUC1F3R R1S1NG's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Dedé Prestes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Emílio Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80thth minute of the game Dedé Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Dedé Prestes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-2. After 86 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. In the 93rd minute, LUC1F3R R1S1NG's Chen Zhen Liang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3.
