The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willian Siqueira during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Willian Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Luiz Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Faria. A collision led to Sconvols United getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fabio Aceto hit a great ball. The supporters of Sconvols United booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute Luiz Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sconvols United's Luiz Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's Luiz Faria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sconvols United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Faria in the 32nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Florian Vinci got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 34 minutes, Luiz Faria made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute of the match, Luiz Faria got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 39thth minute of the game Luiz Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Luiz Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sconvols United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rdth minute of the game Luiz Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Faria could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Luiz Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sconvols United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Willian Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Sconvols United's Angelo Di Salvatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Sconvols United from getting a goal against them. In the 82ndth minute of the game Luiz Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 84th minute, one of Costa Rica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Costa Rica. 92 minutes into the match, Luiz Faria had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Faria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The throw-in from Hugo Ferrant in the 97th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sconvols United's Ryo Ishizaki. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sconvols United fully deserved thier win.
