Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Lion FC's Afşin Derem started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Lion FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Derya Ceviz hit a great ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Afşin Derem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ufuk Rasih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Jaime Cazalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uruguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaime Cazalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ufuk Rasih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the game, Hızır Dilazad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lion FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. Hızır Dilazad hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Güral Ertüze charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Güral Ertüze the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Lion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Güral Ertüze to maneuver through the defense. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match Hızır Dilazad climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afşin Derem in the 40th minute of the match. The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. Ufuk Rasih took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Gisbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hızır Dilazad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. When Afşin Derem fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lion FC's protests and gave Afşin Derem a yellow card for diving instead. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Ufuk Rasih to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ufuk Rasih made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 61st minute. Ufuk Rasih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Lion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Ufuk Rasih reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Lion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afşin Derem to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Afşin Derem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After having played for 71 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Hızır Dilazad came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Ufuk Rasih managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Maximiliano Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 78th minute of play forced Lion FC's goalkeeper Ufuk Rasih to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Lion FC got a freekick which was hit by Derya Ceviz. After a defensive mix-up in Lion FC's zone, Francisco Seco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ufuk Rasih came out of the goal and Francisco Seco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a free kick in the 86th minute. A hard shot 91 in the game by Francisco Seco from a close distance when the talented Ufuk Rasih managed to make a qualified save. Lion FC's players were relieved. Ufuk Rasih made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
