The crowd rose to their feet as Julian Murillo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yağızalp Sayyad. That made the score 1-1 in the 64 minute of play. After 67 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Efraim Gilabert. After 73 played minutes The Conqueror got a freekick which was hit by Celal Erçetin. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uğur Akdurmuş in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağızalp Sayyad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 minutes, Luz Tejedor made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. The Conqueror's Yağızalp Sayyad tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
