In the 11th minute Ahmet Sefer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Ahmet Sefer notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Sefer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Thiago Pliego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34thth minute of the game Ahmet Sefer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mati Suárez who took care of the corner kick. The corner led La Pantera Azulgrana's Delmiro Heriberto to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mati Suárez was slow to take the kick. During this time La Pantera Azulgrana's players had a chance to rest. Olaf Skaradowski kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Sefer in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Guillermo Fontirroig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Sefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Ahmet Sefer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 46th minute of the game Romarinho Riquelme made a throw-in which Ahmet Sefer played forward. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Ahmet Sefer took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 57 played minutes Mariano Lacasa rounded La Pantera Azulgrana's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. In the 60th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dibag Martinez. Dibag Martinez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. After having played for 64 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Sefer in the 65th minute of the match. Dibag Martinez made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Dibag Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 75 minutes of play, La Pantera Azulgrana's Ahmet Sefer made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mati Suárez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thiago Pliego. Chile's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Dibag Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dibag Martinez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Sefer in the 89th minute of play. Olaf Skaradowski kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chile's Jose Manzanedo got a free kick in the 96th minute.
