Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play forced FC ARK CS's goalkeeper Nicolas Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Joey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sammy Corcoran in the 15th minute. Nicolas Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FC ARK CS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of FC ARK CS's goalie and right to Antonio Arias. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. FC ARK CS's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. FC ARK CS were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sammy Corcoran took the corner. 29 minutes into the match, FC ARK CS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Nicolas Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play forced FC ARK CS's goalkeeper Nicolas Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC ARK CS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Elvins didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Bryan White shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play forced FC ARK CS's goalkeeper Nicolas Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sammy Corcoran came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgar Lang to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgar Lang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to FC ARK CS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Edgar Lang hit a great ball. With a little luck, FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC ARK CS's Nicolas Joey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC ARK CS from getting a goal against them. Bryan White fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After 75 minutes FC ARK CS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 76th minute, Felix Montenegro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in FC ARK CS's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Joey came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Lang, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When FC ARK CS's Sammy Corcoran in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
