Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tome Campoamor in the 6th minute of play. After some careless play in the VILLARREAL UNITED defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frodo Hernandez. The VILLARREAL UNITED fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frodo Hernandez should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Frodo Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frodo Hernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frodo Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ion Sobera's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ion Sobera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Ion Sobera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frodo Hernandez. Frodo Hernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Frodo Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 27th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frodo Hernandez. Frodo Hernandez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Frodo Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 33rd minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-7 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frodo Hernandez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frodo Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Luque, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tome Campoamor to strike the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to VILLARREAL UNITED getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Turi Montaña hit a great ball. Frodo Hernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Frodo Hernandez. That made the score 0-9 in the 60 minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Frances Zapater hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Frodo Hernandez. Frodo Hernandez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10. 67 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's goalkeeper Frodo Hernandez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. VILLARREAL UNITED's Frodo Hernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save VILLARREAL UNITED from getting a goal against them. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frodo Hernandez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-11 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 76th minute Tome Campoamor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frodo Hernandez having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Alberto Tafalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frodo Hernandez. The goal made the score 0-12. In the 90th play minute Alberto Tafalla came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Frodo Hernandez. 0-15. Felix Luque had several of the VILLARREAL UNITED's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-16 score and a disappointed Frodo Hernandez as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 97th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Frodo Hernandez. VILLARREAL UNITED's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-17.
