Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dániel Farkas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Dániel Farkas sent off a good shot on target. Tomasz Panikowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Wiktor Chludzinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Panikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 24th minute of play forced TS Barca Skawina's goalkeeper Tomasz Panikowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Panikowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Prats in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 minutes TS Barca Skawina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. 29 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of TS Barca Skawina's Tomasz Panikowski. Tomasz Panikowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Juliusz Kolano in the 32 minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomasz Panikowski. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, TS Barca Skawina's Tomasz Panikowski got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borys Brysz in the 58th minute of play. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomasz Panikowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TS Barca Skawina's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Panikowski came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
