Inácio Marquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. In the 8th minute, Panama's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ruben Paz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Inácio Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 11th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Isidoro Sarmiento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inácio Marquez. Dinamo Colorado's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isidoro Sarmiento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Andres D'Alessandro came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres D'Alessandro to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Paz. Inácio Marquez came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres D'Alessandro in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 37th minute of play forced Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Inácio Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Marquez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Inácio Marquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Tomas Berganza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo Colorado the free kick. The supporters of Dinamo Colorado booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Inácio Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Ros during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Dinamo Colorado booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Inácio Marquez in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Agnaldo Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inácio Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Inácio Marquez was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Isidoro Sarmiento capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Isidoro Sarmiento really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Paz in the 84th minute of the match. Dinamo Colorado's Wellington Torres was substituted for Rafa Teixeira. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Inácio Marquez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dinamo Colorado's Wellington Torres got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 95th match minute, Dinamo Colorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Paz to maneuver through the defense. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
