Enrique Hanot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nantwich's Enrique Hanot. Enrique Hanot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nantwich's Enrique Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Sebastián Puig in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nantwich's Albert Jowsey got a free kick in the 16th minute. 林悦傲 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Sebastián Puig in the 34th minute of play forced Nantwich's goalkeeper Enrique Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Enrique Hanot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Estebe in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Estebe in the 55th minute of play. Nantwich's Florian Ziemba was substituted for Frazer Fordham. In the 64th minute of the match Nantwich got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Örjan Berggren ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Nantwich's Örjan Berggren to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 65th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Nantwich's Florian Ziemba. But to his dismay, Florian Ziemba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Enrique Hanot in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 78th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Enrique Hanot quite easily take care of the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Antonio Arias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nantwich the free kick. In the 86th minute, 林悦傲 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nantwich fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of play forced Nantwich's goalkeeper Enrique Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
