In the 7th minute, Darryl Wedlock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-1 became the score in the 11th minute when Lautaro Mancebo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Hanot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 25th minute of play forced Nantwich's goalkeeper Enrique Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd match minute, Nantwich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frazer Fordham to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mexico booed when Nantwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nantwich's Enrique Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 38th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Enrique Hanot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 53rd minute of the match. Nantwich's Enrique Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 58th minute of play. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Hanot having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Nantwich's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Enrique Hanot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Hanot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 64th minute. After 69 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Hanot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nantwich's Florian Ziemba was substituted for Frazer Fordham. Enrique Hanot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 73rd minute of play. Nantwich's Enrique Hanot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 74th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 林悦傲 in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute 林悦傲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nantwich supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
