With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute, Aysouraguán's Abi Russo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 15 in the game by Abi Russo from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. In the 16th minute, Aysouraguán's Abi Russo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 23rdth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aysouraguán's Jaizki Valverde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abi Russo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. After 71 minutes of play, Aysouraguán's Abi Russo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abi Russo went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 84 minutes, Abi Russo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 89th match minute, Aysouraguán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Abellan to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Aysouraguán were the better team. Aysouraguán's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
