ENZO FC's Christian Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute. In the 14th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as ENZO FC's Simone Grossi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simone Grossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erasmo Cristofor was slow to take the kick. During this time ENZO FC's players had a chance to rest. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play forced ENZO FC's goalkeeper Christian Jeraldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Jeraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind ENZO FC's goalkeeper Christian Jeraldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simone Grossi. When Leonides Osmundo came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the ENZO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Osmundo couldn't finish the play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after ENZO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho pulled a muscle in his back after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Abel Miro fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ENZO FC's protests and gave Abel Miro a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the game's 44th minute Ecuador's Daniel Zorita took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Christian Jeraldo and thus the score was 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Diego Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Christian Jeraldo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 55th minute Diego Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Jeraldo having to interfere. With a little luck, ENZO FC's Christian Jeraldo got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonides Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simone Grossi in the 67th minute of play. If Diego Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Mancebo got free with Christian Jeraldo in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Jeraldo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. ENZO FC's Christian Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that ENZO FC's Christian Jeraldo managed to reach the ball for a save. Diego Mancebo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Christian Jeraldo in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, Leonides Osmundo notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the game, Luis Andino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Christian Jeraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
