After 22 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. Jerome Ngake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 25th minute of play. FC Draconia's Jerome Ngake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Lekubegi got free with Dante Lacasa in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute of the match FC Draconia got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benny Van der Poorten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benny Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Draconia fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when FC Draconia's Benny Hill looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 57th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerome Ngake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Benny Hill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC Draconia booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerome Ngake made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 63rd minute. In the 68th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Hill to maneuver through the defense. FC Draconia's Robbin Dirickx was substituted for Joaquin Lekubegi. The supporters of Mexico booed when FC Draconia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Hill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerome Ngake made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Harald Sulems charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harald Sulems the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Harald Sulems hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 75th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Jerome Ngake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Ngake made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 76th minute. Jerome Ngake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregoire Decorte in the 80th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerome Ngake made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Gregoire Decorte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregoire Decorte in the 93rd minute of play. When Harald Sulems was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. In the 94th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harald Sulems to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
