An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 4th minute of play forced Black Dog F.C.'s goalkeeper Benedicto Ursino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kilian Mbappè in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Kilian Mbappè spun around in front of the goal 7 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Chile's goal. After having played for 9 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valter Xabat. After 18 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valter Xabat who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Gustaw Rydzyk managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Pedro Indiano hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Xabat in the 22nd minute of play. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kilian Mbappè, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
