Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Stasio Jerzyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Antoni Kosel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 14th minute of play. Antoni Kosel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 19th minute of the match. Konrad Tobaczewski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Konrad Tobaczewski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antoni Kosel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Antoni Kosel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Antoni Kosel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukasz Nieuzyla might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukasz Nieuzyla ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duda Chaves. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Tobaczewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. 45 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antoni Kosel. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Antoni Kosel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 53rd minute of the match. When Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Stasio Jerzyk in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abundio Patiño, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 75th minute, Abundio Patiño made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Antoni Kosel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 77th minute. After 78 minutes Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalie and right to Macos Graciani. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Antoni Kosel was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 2-3. Antoni Kosel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 89th minute of play. When Artur Rydzewski fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's protests and gave Artur Rydzewski a yellow card for diving instead. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Franciszek Cichewski was substituted for Artur Rydzewski. A collision led to Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Artur Rydzewski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Chaves in the 97th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
