Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) TÜRKİSTAN 61's İslam Yerel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Derman Akdağ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Derman Akdağ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. İslam Yerel kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Xu Yong Xu came free with the goalkeeper in the 21st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zdzislaw Trynda was slow to take the kick. During this time TÜRKİSTAN 61's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in José Luis Esparza heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. TÜRKİSTAN 61's Derman Akdağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in TÜRKİSTAN 61's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Derman Akdağ came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Veevo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as TÜRKİSTAN 61's İslam Yerel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 after 42 minutes of play. 47 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of TÜRKİSTAN 61's Derman Akdağ. Derman Akdağ was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 58th minute, Mario Veevo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Mario Veevo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Mario Veevo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derman Akdağ having to interfere. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Derman Akdağ in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TÜRKİSTAN 61's José Luis Esparza got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, TÜRKİSTAN 61's Xu Yong Xu got a free kick in the 81st minute. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-1 when İslam Yerel sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Derman Akdağ made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Veevo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
