An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cassius Byrne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emílio Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Bittencourt saved LUC1F3R R1S1NG from getting behind. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Prestes in the 14th minute of play. When Cassius Byrne came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cassius Byrne couldn't finish the play. Emílio Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Bahattin Canpolat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by LUC1F3R R1S1NG's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on USA's corner Diego Bradley fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emílio Bittencourt quite easily take care of the ball. In the 27th minute of the match USA got a corner. LUC1F3R R1S1NG's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After having played for 44 minutes, Dedé Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LUC1F3R R1S1NG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dedé Prestes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in LUC1F3R R1S1NG's zone, Cassius Byrne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Bittencourt came out of the goal and Cassius Byrne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emílio Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cassius Byrne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Cassius Byrne drilling the ball in to score 3-0 behind LUC1F3R R1S1NG's goalkeeper. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LUC1F3R R1S1NG's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emílio Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emílio Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Mcdonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Bittencourt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. USA's Marco Baker got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sam Campbell in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emílio Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. USA were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after LUC1F3R R1S1NG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jenson Smith took the corner.
