Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cícero da Costa got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Uruguay booed when CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Genko Balevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes of play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Cícero da Costa made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gayoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Cícero da Costa got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Cícero da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Cícero da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genko Balevski in the 21st minute of play. A well done corner resulted in Sílvio Dantas drilling the ball in to score 2-0 behind Uruguay's goalkeeper. Genko Balevski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Sílvio Dantas's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Dantas helped the player get up and apologised. Sílvio Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 40th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genko Balevski in the 44th minute of the match. When Cícero da Costa came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cícero da Costa couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Melquiades Amor in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melquiades Amor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 67th minute. With a little luck, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Cícero da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Melquiades Amor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Francisco Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Melquiades Amor could save by the left post. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Genko Balevski took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genko Balevski in the 83rd minute of play. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Cícero da Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Melquiades Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
