The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute of the match Dacian Ciobica sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Demeester in the 97th minute of play. Gelb Fußballverein★DAC★ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
