But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 30thth minute of the game Gunnar Lundgård who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Titleist was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Rikard Olaussen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Rikard Olaussen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 53rd minute. If Rikard Olaussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ole-Petter Anda. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Henrik Bakstad put in a rough tackle. Axel Tasis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 80th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Titleist's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
